Mountain Biking Arizona for holiday

What beautiful weather and environment for mountain biking.

This is just a little teaser of some moments while I was visiting family in the United States. Arizona is the location, Phoenix to be exact has some amazing mountain biking trails for beginners as well as advanced riders. overall it was great to be back out on the trails just for a little activity in nature and be with my buddies from the US.

My rig is a Marin hard tail 29r. Release date was mid 2010 before my Europe travels and playing volleyball abroad. The 29r was my main source of cardiovascular activity and really helped me get to far off quite places to meditate and visualize my future and where I wanted to be in that following year, (where I am this year – living in Germany.) I give a lot of credit an praise to mountain biking and offer you all to try to get into it. I had this bike in storage for the past five months while living abroad so I was very happy to tune her up and get out on the trails again.

I think it is important to establish a line of communication with mentors that are older and wiser than you in any given field of study in life.

“If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.” ~ Isaac Newton

As for volleyball I have looked up to a few legends and within the past fifteen years followed a few of these players develop their games. Obviously these guys are all at a more advanced level with great knowledge of the game but most importantly they gave me the time of day, when I reached out to them about the volleyball game.

These volleyball players were there to offer peer advice for my volleyball experience trying out in Europe also a few of them have been supportive on a friendship level too. These players I have said thank you to individually but I would like to officially say these guys helped me to get to where I am today and where I will be in the future. I think for any budding athlete it it important no matter what age or level you are to have mentors.

Each player has their own personality and style of playing, each player is a man behind the court. So thank you again for following me throughout my travels providing inspiration as well as insight on how to grow my game and tips throughout my volleyball journey.
